In deze rubriek zoeken we de momenten op waarop een echte fles whisky in beeld komt: wat staat er op tafel, wat zit erin, en waarom past juist die whisky bij de sc\u00e8ne? Deze keer een cultklassieker waarin \u00e9\u00e9n whiskymerk over twee films en 35 jaar trouw blijft: <strong>Blade Runner<\/strong> (1982) en <strong>Blade Runner 2049<\/strong> (2017).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De sc\u00e8ne<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Blade Runner van Ridley Scott speelt Harrison Ford de opgebrande ex-politieman Rick Deckard. In een donkere, toekomstige versie van Los Angeles jaagt hij op \u2018replicanten\u2019: androids die illegaal op aarde zijn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In meerdere sc\u00e8nes drinkt Deckard Johnnie Walker Black Label, in een futuristische versie met opvallend vierkante, geometrische flessen. Vooral in zijn rommelige appartement staan er heel wat van die flessen in beeld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wanneer Harrison Ford in 2017 terugkeert in Blade Runner 2049, is er weinig veranderd. Als Deckard replicant \u2018K\u2019 (Ryan Gosling) ontmoet, schenkt hij weer Johnnie Walker Black Label in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De whisky: Johnnie Walker Black Label<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Johnnie Walker is het best verkochte Scotch-merk ter wereld, en Black Label is de klassieker in de lijn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><thead><tr><th>Kenmerk<\/th><th>Detail<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Type<\/td><td>Blended Scotch whisky<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Onder deze naam sinds<\/td><td>1909 (daarvoor vanaf 1865 verkocht als Old Highland Whisky)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Samenstelling<\/td><td>Tot 40 verschillende whisky\u2019s, elk minstens 12 jaar gerijpt<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Belangrijkste malts<\/td><td>Blair Athol, Cardhu, Strathmill en Caol Ila<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Graanwhisky<\/td><td>Vooral van Cameron Bridge<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Weetjes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Een eigen filmwhisky.<\/strong> Bij de release van Blade Runner 2049 bracht Johnnie Walker samen met regisseur Denis Villeneuve de Black Label Director\u2019s Cut uit. De fles had een geometrische vorm, net als de flessen uit de films.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>49 procent, niet toevallig.<\/strong> De Director\u2019s Cut werd gebotteld op 49% alcohol, een knipoog naar het jaar 2049. Er kwamen wereldwijd 39.000 flessen van, met meer dan 30 whisky\u2019s in de blend.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Trouw aan het merk.<\/strong> Johnnie Walker Black Label duikt ook op in andere films. Zo drinkt spion Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) het in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zelf proeven<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Van alle whisky\u2019s in deze rubriek is dit misschien wel de makkelijkst verkrijgbare: Johnnie Walker Black Label staat bij vrijwel elke slijterij en supermarkt. Juist daarom leuk om hem eens bewust te proeven, en te zoeken naar dat vleugje rook van Caol Ila. De vierkante fles moet je er zelf bij denken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Volgende keer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iedereen weet wat James Bond drinkt.
