De turfrook is aanwezig, maar neemt nooit de hoofdrol. In de mond is hij soepel en vriendelijk, met zachte turfrook, romige mout, toffeezoetheid en een warme rokerige toets. De afdronk is aangenaam en ontspannen, met zachte rook, zoete mout en net genoeg turf om interessant te blijven.<br><br>Wat ik er vooral mooi aan vind is dat deze whisky je niet probeert te overdonderen. Hij wint je langzaam voor zich, slok voor slok. Als je ooit hebt gezegd: \u201cIk weet niet of geturfde whisky iets voor mij is,\u201d dan zou dit zomaar de fles kunnen zijn die je van gedachten doet veranderen.
