\u2026 en dit is er zo eentje die meteen nieuwsgierig maakt.
15 jaar gerijpt op ex-bourbon vaten, daarna nog 2 jaar op Vino de Naranja vaten uit Andaluc\u00eda. Niet iets wat je elke dag ziet\u2026 en dat voel je meteen in het verhaal. Deanston staat bekend om zijn wat \u201cwaxy\u201d karakter\u2026 en juist dat lijkt hier perfect samen te komen met die sinaasappel-invloeden.
Wat je kunt verwachten: een balans tussen frisse citrus, rijp fruit, honing en een beetje dat nootachtige, warme profiel. Het idee van deze whisky is eigenlijk heel simpel\u2026 Highland structuur met Andalusische ziel. En dat maakt \u2019m interessant. 53.6% ABV Limited release \u2013 7.000 flessen wereldwijd.
Dit voelt als zo\u2019n release die n\u00e9t anders durft te zijn\u2026 zonder de basis van Deanston kwijt te raken.
