Gedistilleerd in september 1968 en uitgebracht in 2026 ter ere van 200 jaar The GlenDronach distillery, is deze 56 jaar oude single malt de oudste en meest prestigieuze release die de distilleerderij ooit heeft gepresenteerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure>Wereldwijd bestaan er slechts 200 flessen. Een subtiele knipoog naar twee eeuwen vakmanschap\u2026 en een herinnering dat geduld alles is in deze ambacht. Maar wat deze whisky \u00e9cht definieert, is zijn reis. Meer dan 40 jaar rijping in Oloroso sherryvaten, waarin langzaam lagen van diepte, rijkdom en dat onmiskenbare GlenDronach-karakter zijn opgebouwd. Daarna, in 2014, werd de spirit overgebracht naar Pedro Xim\u00e9nez hogsheads voor het laatste hoofdstuk. Niet om te overheersen\u2026 maar om te verdiepen. Te verfijnen. Gebotteld op natuurlijke vatsterkte van 44,9% ABV, precies zoals het vat het bedoeld heeft. Master Blender Dr. Rachel Barrie omschrijft het als een \u201cSherry Crescendo\u201d \u2014 een opbouw van smaken die zich in golven ontvouwt. En eerlijk\u2026 die beschrijving voelt precies goed. Zelfs de presentatie vertelt een verhaal. Een handgeblazen kristallen decanter met koperen details, geplaatst in een met de hand vervaardigde kast van Amerikaans zwart walnotenhout. 148 afzonderlijke elementen. Ongeveer 80 uur vakmanschap\u2026 alleen al voor de kist.
