Een familiebedrijf dat al meer dan 14 generaties wordt doorgegeven, diep geworteld in zijn land en terroir, omringd door velden waar nog altijd vrij herten rondlopen.<br><br>Wat hen uniek maakt, is hun echte grain to glass-filosofie. De gerst wordt verbouwd op hun eigen land, ter plekke gedistilleerd en rijpt voornamelijk op voormalige Cognacvaten. Donkere rozijnen, rijpe druiven en gedroogde vijgen voeren de boventoon. Honing en een vleugje kers geven extra diepte, samen met lichte karamel, een hint van gebrande suiker en zacht eikenhout, met op de achtergrond een subtiele toets van cacao.<br><br><strong>Smaak<\/strong>:<br>Zoet en romig. Zachte honing en nectar, gevolgd door donkerdere tonen van rozijnen en vijgen, soms bijna stroperig. Een milde tanninestructuur en lichte kruidigheid zorgen ervoor dat alles prachtig in balans blijft.<br><br><strong>Afdronk<\/strong>:<br>Middellang en langzaam vervagend van zoet naar droger. Donker fruit blijft hangen, samen met zacht eikenhout, lichte tannines en subtiele kruiden zoals witte peper. Op het einde blijft een klein bittertje achter van druivenschil of pure chocolade.<br><br>Dit is geen whisky die probeert indruk te maken met leeftijd\u2026 maar een whisky die gevormd is door het land waar hij vandaan komt.
