5 Year Old Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rokerige island whisky van het eiland Mull, gedistilleerd bij de Tobermory Distillery en gebotteld als een cask strength Ledaig (61,1%). Deze gelimiteerde peated single malt Scotch whisky is volledig gerijpt op Madeira-wijnvaten en uitgebracht als onderdeel van de Lores of Mull Collection \u2013 met slechts 800 flessen, verkrijgbaar via de distilleerderijshop en hun online store, met verzending naar Nederland en de rest van de EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Swordstone of Mull dankt zijn naam aan de legende van het zwaard van een reus dat neerkwam op een rots bij Fionnphort Bay. Die mix van vuur, kracht en ruige kust past perfect bij deze whisky: klassieke Ledaig-turfrook in combinatie met rijke Madeira-zoetheid en zilte zeelucht.

Een jonge, stoere island dram voor liefhebbers van turf die ook houden van een dessert-achtige wijnvatafwerking. Proefnotities (distilleerderij):

Neus<\/strong>:
Zoete, aardse turfrook met sultanarozijnen, gekonfijte sinaasappelschil, gedroogd fruit en smeulend eikenhout.

Smaak<\/strong>:
Krachtig maar verfijnd; geroosterde ananas, pure chocolade, warme specerijen en rijke Madeira-zoetheid.

Afdronk<\/strong>:
Lang, rokerig en vol, met gebrande suiker, gedroogde vijg en een vleugje maritieme zoutigheid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
