{"id":2731,"date":"2025-10-24T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-10-24T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thedutchwhiskyassociation.nl\/?p=2731"},"modified":"2025-10-23T14:12:30","modified_gmt":"2025-10-23T12:12:30","slug":"ardnahoe-distillery-lanceert-cask-strength-batch-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thedutchwhiskyassociation.nl\/index.php\/2025\/10\/24\/ardnahoe-distillery-lanceert-cask-strength-batch-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Ardnahoe Distillery lanceert Cask Strength Batch 1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>persbericht<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>door Jan Smits<\/em><br><br><strong>pure Islay power<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Goed nieuws van Islay \u2014 Hunter Laing &amp; Co. kondigt met trots de derde vaste release aan van hun familie-distilleerderij Ardnahoe.<br>De Ardnahoe 5 Year Old \u2013 Cask Strength Edition is een single malt whisky gebotteld op een stevige 60,9% ABV en volledig gerijpt in first-fill bourbonvaten, zorgvuldig geselecteerd op hun volle karakter en rijke smaak.<br><br>Deze eerste batch rijpte vijf jaar op het eiland en werd zonder koude filtratie en zonder toevoeging van kleurstoffen gebotteld \u2014 puur, ongefilterd en rechtstreeks uit het vat. In de neus vind je tonen van zeelucht, aardse turf en rijke cacao. Het smaakpalet opent met boomgaardfruit, kruidige thee en gezouten karamel, gevolgd door een rokerige afdronk met frisse citrusaccenten.<br><br>Na eerdere releases als de fruitige Bholsa (gerijpt op Oloroso sherryvaten) en de rokerig-frisse Infinite Loch, laat Ardnahoe opnieuw zien dat jong Islay-karakter vol kracht en belofte zit.
