Een nieuw whiskyplatform met een bijzonder uitgangspunt: blending als pure kunstvorm. The Art of the Blend biedt whiskymakers een blanco canvas \u2014 \u00e9\u00e9n unieke blend per release.
Initiatiefnemer Todd Lawrence gelooft dat de kunst van het mengen net zo creatief en expressief kan zijn als schilderen of componeren. Voor de allereerste release gaf hij het vertrouwen aan niemand minder dan Max McFarlane, een Keeper of the Quaich met meer dan veertig jaar ervaring in de Schotse whiskywereld.
McFarlane stond aan de basis van talloze legendarische malts, en zijn vakmanschap is nog altijd een toonbeeld van traditionele kwaliteit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rijk, kruidig en zoet \u2014 lagen van toffee, melasse en donkere karamel. Daarna tonen van eikenhout, mokka, pure chocolade en leer.
Smaak<\/strong>:
Vol en olieachtig, maar verfijnd. Vijgen, rozijnen en honingstroop worden omhuld door warme kruiden \u2014 kaneel, nootmuskaat en kruidnagel \u2014 met geroosterde noten, leer en espresso.
Afdronk<\/strong>:
Lang, warm en complex. Drogen fruittonen, cacao, eikenhout en een vleugje peper blijven prachtig hangen \u2014 de perfecte whisky om rustig van te genieten. Een paar druppels water veranderen het karakter volledig: zachter, ronder, met een extra laag van sherrydoordrenkt fruit en gesmolten chocolade.
