De onafhankelijke whisky-specialist Douglas Laing & Co. verrast opnieuw met een bijzonder experiment: The Gauldrons Eclipse, de allereerste Orange Wine Cask Finish binnen hun Campbeltown-ge\u00efnspireerde serie. Een gewaagde stap die mysterie omzet in vakmanschap. Deze gelimiteerde editie is samengesteld uit Single Cask Single Malts, exclusief afkomstig uit Campbeltown \u2013 Schotlands kleinste maar karaktervolste whiskyregio. Voor het eerst werd de whisky nagerijpt op Orange Wine-vaten uit de historische kelders van Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusi\u00eb. Dat zuidelijke vleugje zon en citrus voegt een verrassend levendige, nootachtige en fruitige dimensie toe aan het donkere, maritieme karakter van The Gauldrons. Gebotteld op een natuurlijke vatsterkte van 52,9%, zonder kleuring of koude filtratie, toont Eclipse de pure essentie van vakmanschap en Campbeltown-energie.
