Achter de distilleerderij ligt de Sound of Sleat (Gaelisch: Linne Shl\u00e8ite) \u2014 een ruige, smalle zeestrook die Skye van het vasteland scheidt. Een vloedgolf van rook, zeezout en eikenkruiden. Denk aan geurige tabak, sinaasappelgerstsuiker, abrikoos en een vleugje zeewier achter de turfrook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Groot en krachtig, maar toch elegant. Houtkruiden, kampvuur, een wasachtige textuur, met hints van vanille, witte peper en oosterse rook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lang, tintelend en pittig \u2014 met kruiden, capsicum en een zilte kustkick die onmiskenbaar Skye schreeuwt.
