In 2013 bracht Wolfburn Distillery in Thurso zijn allereerste whisky uit: de Northland. Gerijpt in Amerikaanse eiken quarter casks, werd deze al snel een favoriet dankzij zijn soepele, uitgebalanceerde Highland-karakter. Meer dan tien jaar later begint de Northland aan een nieuw hoofdstuk: Wolfburn Northland 8-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Vormgegeven door tijd, geduld en de trage noordelijke rijping, toont deze dram meer diepte, verfijning en rijkdom, terwijl hij trouw blijft aan de kenmerkende Wolfburn-stijl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proefnotities<\/strong>

Neus<\/strong>:
Zoet fruit en frisse zeelucht, aangevuld met citrus, granen en een vleugje zachte turfsrook.

Smaak<\/strong>:
Zoete, nootachtige tonen met druiven, honing en florale accenten, verrijkt met gedroogd fruit en verwarmende kruiden.

Afdronk<\/strong>:
Zachte zoete tonen die langzaam vervagen, met op het einde een subtiel spoor van elegante turfsrook.

Non-chill filtered, natuurlijke kleur, gebotteld op 46% ABV in 70cl.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
