Deze serie verkent hoe we allemaal smaak ervaren via kleur, textuur en zelfs muziek. Ge\u00efnspireerd door Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass en zijn synesthetische gave om \u201cin kleur te proeven\u201d, laten de Vanguard-whisky\u2019s zien dat smaak meer is dan alleen wat je tong voelt \u2013 het is een complete zintuiglijke beleving. Glass beschrijft hoe hij tinten en structuren koppelt aan aroma\u2019s en karakter, verder be\u00efnvloed door de muziek die hij tijdens het cre\u00ebren beluistert. Wereldwijd bestaan er slechts 99 flessen, gebotteld op 48,3% ABV. Opgelegd in 2008 in ex-Bourbonvaten, 14 jaar gerijpt, en daarna gefinisht in hybride vaten (Amerikaanse eiken duigen met zwaar getoaste Schotse eiken koppen, gemaakt van natuurlijk omgewaaide Highland eiken). Gebotteld op 46,3% ABV. Het resultaat: een balans van tropisch fruit met zachte kruidige houttonen.
