De nieuwste en laatste release in de 5-Year Series van McConnell\u2019s is een feit \u2014 en het is een bijzondere.

Een blend van Ierse malt en grain whisky\u2019s, vijf jaar gerijpt in first-fill bourbonvaten en daarna verfijnd in met zorg geselecteerde cognacvaten door Master Distiller Graeme Millar. Cognac-vatafwerkingen zijn zeldzaam in de Ierse whiskywereld, en precies d\u00e1t maakt deze botteling zo interessant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De invloed van de cognac zorgt voor zachte fruittonen, een vleugje kruidigheid en een fluweelzachte finish.
De neus geeft aroma\u2019s van gekonfijte sinaasappelschil, banaan en vanille. In de mond volgen citrusschil, rozijnen, witte chocolade en gedroogde ananas, afgerond met een warme gemberkruiding.

Met deze release is de McConnell\u2019s 5-Year Series compleet:
