Unieke samenwerking met Foster + Partners\u2019 Ben Dobbin onthuld in Veneti\u00eb<\/strong>
Veneti\u00eb, 7 mei 2025 \u2013 The Dalmore, een van ’s werelds meest prestigieuze whiskymerken, kondigt met trots de derde editie aan van The Luminary Series, een samenwerking met de internationaal gerenommeerde architect Ben Dobbin van Foster + Partners. Deze bijzondere serie, in samenwerking met V&A Dundee, viert de synergie tussen whiskyvakmanschap en architectonisch design en wordt officieel gelanceerd voorafgaand aan de Venice Biennale of Architecture 2025.
The Dalmore Luminary Series No.3 2025 Edition bestaat uit twee uitzonderlijke single malt whisky’s: The Rare, een uiterst zeldzame 52 jaar oude whisky, en The Collectible, een 17 jaar oude limited edition ge\u00efnspireerd op The Rare. De kunst van whisky maken en architecturaal design komen samen in deze unieke expressies, die de expertise van The Dalmore\u2019s meester-whiskymakers Gregg Glass en Richard Paterson OBE weerspiegelen.
The Dalmore Luminary 2025 Edition – The Rare<\/strong>
The Rare is de oudste whisky ooit uitgebracht binnen The Luminary Series en belichaamt de kunst van rijping en innovatie. Deze whisky, gerijpt in een zeldzame assemblage van vaten, wordt gepresenteerd in een op maat gemaakte decanter, gehuisvest in een dynamische bronzen sculptuur ontworpen door Ben Dobbin. De sculptuur is een meesterwerk van tensegrity-architectuur, waarin spanning en balans een harmonieus geheel vormen. Slechts twee sculpturen en drie decanters zullen ooit worden gemaakt, waarvan \u00e9\u00e9n exemplaar bij Sotheby\u2019s geveild zal worden ten behoeve van V&A Dundee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Collectible is een 17 jaar oude whisky die de complexiteit en finesse van The Rare weerspiegelt. Gerijpt in een unieke combinatie van zeven vaten, waaronder vintage Calvados, Matusalem Sherry en Bordeaux-wijnvaten, biedt deze whisky een gelaagd en verfijnd smaakprofiel. Deze exclusieve editie wordt gepresenteerd in een op maat gemaakte display case, ge\u00efnspireerd op de sculptuur van The Rare. Ben Dobbin, bekend van zijn werk aan iconische projecten zoals Apple Park, liet zich inspireren door het majestueuze Schotse landschap en de architecturale precisie van The Dalmore Distillery. \u201cHet cre\u00ebren van deze sculptuur was een fascinerend proces waarin de precisie van whisky maken en architecturaal design samenkomen,\u201d aldus Dobbin.
