Deze whisky heeft gerijpt in een unieke combinatie van refill-vaten en op Pedro Xim\u00e9nez\/Oloroso gesherryde vaten, en kreeg vervolgens een finish in nieuw Colombiaans eikenhout.<br><br>Het resultaat? Een krachtige explosie van smaak die toch prachtig in balans blijft. Zoals whiskykenner Charles MacLean zegt: \u201czelfs bij een verlaagd alcoholpercentage is de smaak intens!\u201d<br><br>Deze dram verkent Caol Ila\u2019s wasachtige, maritieme karakter met een zijdezachte, olieachtige textuur en een verrassend rijke zoetheid afkomstig van het Colombiaanse eikenhout.
