Er zijn verschillende distilleerderijen die bekend zijn vanwege hun geturfde whisky, denk aan de whisky\u2019s van Islay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De meeste weten het wel\u2026 ik ben fan van de onafhankelijke bottelaar Douglas Laing<\/a>. Van hun big peat serie probeer ik er altijd zoveel mogelijk te kopen en proeven en ook in hun old particular serie heb ik genoeg lopen rondstruinen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Er bestaat echter een top lijn bij Douglas Laing die ik nog niet eerder geprobeerd had. De XOP. Extra old particular en en die serie had ik nog weinig ervaring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nu Douglas Laing dit jaar 75 jaar bestaat hebben ze een mooie 6 delige serie op de markt gezet. En vandaag proeven we de Port Ellen uit de serie [lees verder<\/a><\/em>].<\/p>\n\n\n
